Wouldn't mind if we do (Airbnb this fabulous Tennessee home ourselves)! While we do love a good painted tongue and groove, we really love it when our clients give the walls (and the trees they came from) a chance to talk. The builders of this home chose to use cull and factory second Southern Yellow Pine tongue and groove because why knot?!

The lower grade lumber was used floor to ceiling in bedrooms, the game room, kitchen and home movie theater. In some rooms, it's stained with darker tones. In others, the builder intentionally kept it natural with the knots showing through. This is a truer representation of a lower grade and what we call affordable character.
